Sensory and Messy Play Workshops

What are sensory and messy play workshops?

These workshops are designed for children between 6 months to 10 years old. They provide activities that stimulate the senses, provide new experiences, and allow for a deeper level of role play than they may normally be able to experience. Plus, they are FUN.

These workshops are ideal for events such as birthday parties, family get-togethers, summer fun, or almost any other occasion you can imagine. They take place at a venue of your choosing, and you can book as long as you like!

There are packages you can choose based on your child’s interests and their age; these are listed below.

Available Services

  • Basic Package

    • One tuff tray with a messy play activity based on the available themes.

    • Available for small groups, with a maximum of 8 children.

      • Under two-year-olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult per child.

    • £10 material cost, payable upfront, then £50 per hour.

  • Premium Package

    • Two tuff trays designed from two of the available themes.

    • Available for medium groups, with a maximum of 16 children.

      • Under-two-year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult per child.

    • £20 material cost, payable upfront, then £70 per hour.

  • Deluxe Package

    • Two tuff trays designed from two of the available themes

    • Adult-led singing and dancing circle time (optional)

    • Big roll of paper, paint and pens to create a huge, group painting using hands, brushes, sponges, leaves, etc.

    • Colouring and craft station, with colouring and crafts that match the themes of the day.

    • Designed for a large group of children with a maximum of 30 children

      • Under two-year-olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult per child.

    • £50 material cost, payable upfront, then £100 per hour

Available Themes

  • Dinosaur World

    • Dinosaurs, cocoa powder ‘mud’, oats, shredded paper, leaves, trees, and a baking soda volcano!

    • Suitable for ages 3 and up.

  • Jungle Fun

    • Cocoa powder ‘mud’, water, coloured oats, shredded paper, trees, leaves, and all the jungle animals, bugs and creepy crawlies you could want!

    • Suitable for 12 months and up.

  • Smelly Potion Making

    • Herbs, spices, coloured water, flowers, mud, glitter, cauldrons, jugs, mugs and funnels. The potion-making experience you wish you had as a child.

    • Suitable for 12 months and up.

  • Under the Sea

    • Cornflour gloop, bubble machine, sea creatures, foam, and glitter water play all in one tray!

    • Suitable for all ages; can be modified to suit younger children.
